You may be wondering whether I can play the ukulele. Yes, I can. (Whether or not I can play it well is a different matter altogether.) Credits to my friend Sarah for the picture.
The days have been flying by. I am, as always, busy with school work and church commitments. I do apologise for not blogging as much as you might want me to, but I simply don't have the time. Or the mood. Perhaps especially the mood.
Tonight, for example, I will be working hard on completing an assignment due tomorrow. It's supposed to be 1000 words long. Shouldn't be a problem, really. The only hitch is that I haven't quite started writing it yet. Hmm. Instead, I'm here writing this blog post.
Everything is set for Assignment Mode to kick in, though. My study area is neat and tidy. I've got a nice cup of steaming hot tea next to me. I've got my Thinking Cap on.
My Thinking Cap, by the way, is a literal cap that I wear backwards so as to keep my fringe up. Part of me thinks it helps me think better. The other part thinks I'm just some rapper wannabe. In response to that, the first part argues that I actually am a rapper and that my awesome rapper skillz are merely lying dormant. Note how I replaced the "s" in "skills" with a "z", y'know, 'cos that's just how we rappers spell things.
As I'm typing this now, my attention has been drawn to my legs. You might be wondering whether my legs are particularly attractive legs, since they attract my attention so. No, they're not. They are aching, however; a result of playing basketball.
I like playing basketball. You might be wondering whether I'm good at it. No, I'm not. My height is a good testament to that. But I think I'm getting better at it. At least, I hope so. I'm tired of being a liability to my team. But what can I say, not all rappers make good basketball players. Oh wait, I'm sorry, I meant "playerz".
This post really is going nowhere, so I shall end it here. Better posts are to come, hopefully. And again, if you're looking for more timely updates on my life, you might want to check out my Twitter profile.
I can't quite promise you updates per se, though. I normally tweet about things that are not quite related to my life, seeing that I have an exceptionally boring life mostly filled with mindless sessions of reading essays written by academics who are armed with no sense of humour whatsoever. I wonder why these people can't inject humour or wit into their writings. Maybe they're robots.
Goodnight World. Sleep well. I, on the other hand, will not be getting much sleep at all. But that's just how we rappers roll.
